We always heard countless times how exercise is “good for us.” Coz it can actually help you feel good, too. Getting the right amount of exercise can rev up your energy levels and even help improve your mood. The most common exercise today is called aerobics.
Aerobic means “with oxygen”, and refers to the use of oxygen in the body’s metabolic or energy-generating process.
Aerobic exercise refers to exercise that involves or improves oxygen consumption by the body. It will condition the heart and lungs by increasing the oxygen available to the body and by enabling the heart to use oxygen more efficiently. This kind of exercise overloads the heart and lungs and causes them to work harder than at rest. Because this activity uses large of muscles groups.
In doing aerobic exercise you should be able to carry on short conversation. If you are gasping for air while talking, you are probably working anaerobically. Because if you will do that while exercising you will tire faster and are more likely to experience sore muscles after exercise is over.
Aerobic activities include walking, jogging, swimming, biking, ballroom dancing, aerobic classes, etc.
But we know that exercise alone cannot prevent or cure heart disease. It is only one factor in risk reduction. But it also helps us.
